PTP helps to stimulate collagen and elastin, naturally reducing fine lines and wrinkles. Minor skin resurfacing gently exfoliates the top layer of skin providing an instant glow. PTP has also been used to treat hyperpigmentation like Melasma due to its gentle twin pulse technology.

PTP feels like a light electric buzzing on the skin. As the laser glides along the treatment area, you may feel a slight warm stinging sensation. A mild flushed appearance may last a few hours post treatment.

We recommend getting PTP done every 2-4 weeks. The treatment lasts 30 mins per session. For best results, we suggest a series of 3-6 treatments to achieve the best optimal outcome. You can add PTP to the end of any of our SkinZap facials for an instant glow.

You won’t feel any pain with PTP. As the laser moves across the skin, a slight prickling sensation is normal.

IPL uses intense pulsed wavelengths of light to heat up the skin's surface, stimulating collagen production.  The light energy from our IPL is absorbed by the pigments in your skin, causing intense heat that damages or destroys the structure that holds the unwanted color and ultimately removes the brown spot. Your Zapologist will treat a wide spectrum of skin conditions with our variety of IPL filter functions.

IPL uses light energy which feels slightly like the snapping of a rubber band. Immediately after the treatment you’ll see the targeted brown spots looking a little darker. But don’t worry! This will go away in 5-7 days. Over time you will see smooth, even skin tone with less pigmentation caused by age and sun damage.

You will see results after just one treatment! Pore size will be reduced, brown spots faded, and a more evenly toned skin will be exposed. We recommend getting 3-6 treatments spaced about 4-6 weeks apart to get the most dramatic results.

No! IPL treatments do not hurt. Depending on the laser, the most you will feel is either a warm sensation or a light snapping of a rubber band. This feeling subsides immediately after your treatment. Afterwards you’ll feel a mild sensation similar to sunburn. Depending on the amount of damaged cells beneath your skin, it may take 5-7 days for the darkened spots to go away and potentially 3 weeks for full discoloration to fade.

During your laser treatment, your Zapologist may apply a numbing cream to minimize discomfort. Your treatment will utilize a special handheld device that is applied to your skin and emits laser light. Treatments usually take between 45-75 minutes.

The laser will illuminate vessels below the skin that are responsible for red spots and discoloration to precisely target them, diminishing the appearance of redness due to vascular formations. The laser specifically targets discoloration without harming surrounding skin and tissue, reducing discomfort, side effects, and downtime.

You’ll likely see some redness Immediately after treatment which generally resolves within the first few hours. For some spots, you will see a darkening of the treated area first, which is followed by fading and flaking of your skin.

Typically Cherry Angiomas and capillaries will only require 1-2 treatments. Redness caused by broken capillaries will be diffused, but will require ongoing, monthly treatments to keep redness at bay. We recommend that exposure to sunlight should be avoided 10-14 days pre- and post- treatment.
